THE MINISTRY OF ENERGY, COMMUNICATIONS & MULTIMEDIA PORTAL DEVELOPMENT
Following contemporary trends of portals that are shaped by more and more sophisticated end users, the Ministry portal was developed by adapting the workings of a conventional publication, important news and contents were pushed to the front page, making the whole portal more transparent to end users. With the combination of insightful layout structure and intelligent web engine, more relevant content could be brought forward to the user’s attention. (Year 1997-2005)
MDC ACCESS FOR THE MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION PORTAL DEVELOPMENT
A portal project with a back-end system that allows the administrators to update the website seamlessly and allows the users, which are companies that already acquired the MSC Status to update their company vital information through the portal. The portal serves as a reference point (of MSC Status companies) for the government and public sector. (Year 1997-2002)
THE SPECIAL COMMISSION OF THE ROYAL POLICE PORTAL DEVELOPMENT
A highly publicised portal due to the publicity in the mainstream media. We were given the task to develop a portal that would enable the public to send their reports, inquiries and suggestions to the commission. The portal has to possess an administration engine with reporting and statistical reports tools. We were given 7 days to deliver the job. Job delivered. (Year 2004-2005)

SOUTHERN BANK BERHAD WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT
When a bank with complex proprietary systems wanted to integrate their system to the web, we helped them achieve what they needed. Emphasis was put on CGI programming utilizing Perl, HTML, SQLplus (Oracle), flatfile databases, web-based electronic mailing lists. We managed the integration of an Oracle database with the corporate web site, developed Perl-based solutions for dynamically creating HTML pages from complex database queries (SQL), and did major conversion of -csh scripts and C codes to Perl. We also designed a web-enabled database administration and site usage reporting tools. (Year 1997-1998)

BERJAYA GROUP BERHAD WEB DEVELOPMENT
Berjaya Group Berhad had a web server running on Sun Solaris, and the limited capabilities of web browsers back then made our design work really difficult. This project includes systems and network administration for Sun Solaris platform, implementation of processes for automated database versioning and installation, and HTML authoring using enhancements for Netscape v3.0 and MS Internet Explorer v3.01. THE UMNO MALAYSIA WEB DEVELOPMENT
The largest organisation in Malaysia, UMNO’s website was launched by the party President at the UMNO General Assembly ceremony. For this project, we did the project management, design, and development. Authored functional and design specification documents, designed and integrated an Informix database with FastCGI-based web middleware. Migrated existing HTML-based data into database and designed web-enabled database administration and site usage reporting tools. Coding in SQL, Perl, and HTML. We also set up the Firewall, Proxy and UMNO POP3 messaging solution. (Year 1996-1999)

Following the success of the UMNO website, our team was invited to help launch another political organisation website. We created a site that fully engaged their target users by providing on the fly newsfeed, with a click-to-action capability to publish information through active database integrated interface. SMART SMS ASSISTANT PROJECT FOR THE MINISTRY OF ENERGY COMMUNICATIONS AND MULTIMEDIA
A smart messaging system that is utilized in the office environment. The system provided a management tool that helped personnel to perform their job functions better, be more organised and more effective. The system consists of four major functions; Email Assistant, Appointment Coordinator, Information Broadcaster and an Administration Console. (Year 2004)

One of the most difficult designs that we have to create due to the client demands and restrictions. We came up with a simple design that borrowed the concept of a glossy magazine cover. The front page highlighted upcoming main events with very few buttons that mattered such as helpdesk and contact. Other than that, all the multi layered content is tucked inside the pop up menu. This is to simplify the layout and to guide visitors to the main events. (Year 2001-2003)

THE SURUHANJAYA TENAGA PORTAL DEVELOPMENT
Creating a portal for this newly formed authority commission are both challenging and adventurous. On one hand, we had very limited resources from the commission to construct the pages since there are not many prior design guidelines or materials. On the other hand, it gave us the chance to explore and try more unconventional design concepts.
